One star because it wont accept none. This is pure crap.

I logged in with my user name and password. All fine. Then it asks me to choose a telephone number where I will receive a special code to enter on the app. They offer a choice of one telephone number. I have tried to log in absout 5 times today and Im still waiting for a call. There is no where on the Morgan Stanley website to even put in any telephone number much less add a second option. I also wanted to try to see if I could get the check deposit part to work which I never could before. My son had success with it, but I cant even get logged in to even give it another try.
All my other bank apps use TouchID, why not this one???
Needs Apple Watch Support
No touch-ID login and lack of the secure message feature makes this app almost not worth having.
Spotlight Search: When searching (spotlight search) on the iPad or iPhone, the app does not come up. I tried searching for Morgan Stanley, Morgan, Stanley, MSO, Client Serve, Wealth Management, etc. This makes it annoying to open the app because you have to go find it in all your apps and cant easily search. Please fix. Universal App: Why do you have two separate Apps in the App Store when you could have one Universal app that supports both iPad and iPhone? Doesnt make sense, please fix.
I for one am very thankful for this apps, it is very good and getting better. It really needs to implement the touch ID management, I have a complex password as requested. Many of my other apps have implemented it and it works great. Please put it in ASAP.
Still no Touch ID. Please allow Touch ID access!!!!
I love this app. Having used other"Bank" apps this by far easier with more options.
Latest version: I know I have no liabilities with Morgan. Why do I have to be told that every time I login? Is there a way to disable that screen? Still issues from past: Never saves my username when it updates. Have to re enter it a lot as it is updated a lot. Dumb help (press x to dismiss) every time it updates. Please. Remove that help. Should be smart and only do it for changes features. No smooth. Screen transitions are jerky. So many pdf documents (privacy policy etc). That is so 1990. Please transition to html so that I can actually read them.
App gets better with each release. Some growing pains evident. Needs two things: Touch ID implementation One View Why this app doesnt have Touch ID yet is a mystery.
The deposit feature works about half the time for some reason.
The app needs Touch ID. The app doesnt show MTD or YTD returns. Daily returns are nice but pretty useless for long term investors. It shows projected income going forward but doesnt show actual vs projected for past months so its useless. Lots of useless fluff in here.
This app does 99% of what I need my iPhone. And considering where Morgan Stanley was a couple years ago with their website and no support for mobile, this is a huge advance. Mobile check deposit is awesome and a huge time saver! As others have mentioned, Touch ID support would be great. Using a complex password is painful, and Touch ID would be a secure way to resolve that issue.
Its serviceable, but its like Morgan Stanley doesnt much care about their customer-facing software.
Nice app. Logging in is a pain, we all understand Security, but with Touch ID on IOS devices how can you go wrong with fingerprint security. Simple and secure. Please add promptly
Every update you lose the ability to sign-on with fingerprint technology and after logging in again there is no prompt to reengage fingerprint ability. Extremely annoying.
Add ability to save password or add Touch ID this is the only banking App I use out of 5 others that doesnt offer Touch ID.
Literally the only banking app I use that doesnt allow for Touch ID...Allow for IRA contributions without having to call in. Lastly, allow to set up reoccurring transactions and/contributions to investments.
Other than checking your balance, this app has little value. I would like to see performance of my portfolio against other indexes for the quarter, year to date, and life-cycle. The charts they do offer are of little value. Compare this app to Fidelity Net Benefits and youll see the difference. With Fidelity, you can also log in with Touch ID.
