Can’t import taxes to turbo tax. The customer service rep said I had to call them at a different time. To unlock something, didn’t make sense. Limited functionality. Customers service reps don’t have the power to fix your problems. Try another company.

Mobile app login

Doesn’t allow me to log in w/ wifi or LTE. Very frustrating. Also only update mobile app every few months

Every other app in my house works on my home WiFi except Morgan Stanley what has happened in the last two weeks?

RSUs

I recently linked my Morgan Stanley at Work account to my Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (WM) account, anticipating a unified view of my financial holdings. However, I was disappointed to find that my unvested Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) are not visible in the Morgan Stanley Online platform. This limitation diminishes the value of linking the accounts, as a comprehensive overview of both vested and unvested assets is essential for effective financial planning.

No Zelle

For the past few weeks the app has glitched every time i tried to send a zelle. My money is essentially hostage right now and idk how to fix it. Smh

No service for IOS 15.5

The MS app, which worked perfectly fine for years until this month, and which upgraded on the regular, will no longer support IOS 15.5. The MS app is locked and advises (message is within the MS app, not my iPhone in general) to upgrade to 15.6 or beyond. All the other usual apps on my iPhone 13 work fine, with the exception of NYT which I’ve deleted. This is a choice on the part of MS app developers since obviously I am able to freely use all my other apps. MS tech support, while polite and apologetic, advised to contact Apple, saying it was an Apple-specific problem. I do not wish to buy a new iPhone or store my personal data on the cloud. So there you have it.

Updates keeps app from opening

Had no problems with app until latest update. Will no longer open. Just a circle continuing to spin. Now have to go to website to access account.

I actually like the app

But after this latest update, I can’t get any info. Face ID works fine and then the spinner just spins forever and nothing loads.

Unable to login

Unable to log in after the most recent update. Do you guys do any QA testing before launching your applications? This should never make it in production. If it did, it should be reversed right away..

App is horrendous

Only thing it’s good for are your balances. Very weak app. If I didn’t know anything about Morgan Stanley? I’d think they were a 3rd rate investment company. 1 star at best.

Worthless and useless

I am so tired of having to visit your stupid site just to log in to the app. Your service is useless except that my company uses MS for stock compensation.

Poor stability in latest update

Latest app update: App only loads ~25% of the time after sign-in. Always: Can’t find RoR info on portfolio or individual accounts.

Good Basic Info, Limited Function

While the ability to check funds/balances, etc. is fine, some of the most basic functionality is limited. On my iPhone 14Pro, the ‘My Team’ list will not scroll. So if I want the contact info for anyone other than the first person listed, I have to go to a web browser. So, fine for a quick check of your account, but not the detailed resource the menu seems to indicate.

Cumbersome App

Difficult to navigate. Constantly having problems updating linked accounts. Hard to get simple fund performance information

App needs simplification a complete overhaul. Way too many layers to dig through to find basic information. I hired a Morgan Stanley professional to make my life easier. This app makes me want to leave!!!

Horrible User Experience

I don’t know who designed this app but it’s horrible, anytime i need any thing done I end up calling because I can’t find anything within the app without clicking through every single menu option. Additionally, how does an app with what seems no actual functionality lag, riddle me that, why is my phone lagging opening my a bloody menu. Don’t recommend, if morgan “standby” can’t make a functioning app I don’t particularly want them touching my money lol. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND !!!!!!!

App is outdated

It is astonishing that a wealth management could have such a poor user interface. Basic functions like rate of return is not available. Charts look like screenshots and have no interactivity. Can’t filter transactions by buy/sell. Can’t see after a trade what the return was. Can’t see performance of your individual holdings since purchase. The list is endless. Needs a complete overhaul to bring the app to at least year 2010. Extremely frustrating!

Should be better

For a multibillion dollar company how have they not invested in a superior app developer that can make this 10x better. Not very user friendly, lots of error messages, and font size is very small. There are great ideas and concepts here, but was not executed well.

Dark mode and accessibility!

I can access what I need to, but man does this app need a dark mode! It’s 2024, nearly every app I use has dark mode. I check my finances first thing in the morning while it’s still dark and then I open this app and burn my eyes out. Please add dark mode. Thanks

Cannot view documents

I am repeatedly shown errors and told that Account documents are not available. This is blatant negligence in a time of filing taxes.

lax Accessibility needed by customers with low or no vision

this application has extremely poor accessibility features for their customers who have extremely low vision, or are blind. The best example is the documentation menu item. Once a document is opened, field, built in screen, raider will not read the text using voiceover or the built-in screen reader. Also, the format used to create the documentation copy is extremely primitive. Frankly. perform at auto be similar to other text applications similar to Books or manuals.

Update very buggy

Have had to delete the app and download again 5 or 6 times because it just goes to a white screen on login or just keeps spinning as it’s “verifying”.

Terrible update

The recently updated is app is terrible. Hard to navigate. It was fine the way it was before. Not sure who decided this way better. Trying to find my balance is a 10 step nightmare.

Latest update and loss of info

The newer app looks a little nicer and cleaner so kudos there, but how is there a removal of the since inception and balance invested vs current MV, the removal of this information makes it seem like trying to hide something. Additionally, the research and transaction research doesn’t meet my expectation for this institution.

Not a fan of new version

The previous app was ok but the recent upgrade is poor. I was hoping that the upgrade would provide enhanced research capabilities but instead the new Home Screen is hiding the holdings tab, activities tab and trade tabs. Please bring back the essential features back to the home page and add enhanced research features.

Updated App

This app is not user friendly. I preferred the previous app without any issues. I turned my phone off many times thinking it was an iPhone issue.

The MA WM app has been amazing through the asset aggregation feature which has no competition so far. The UI is grande to say the least. However the latest update’s UI is really bad comparatively to what we initially had. 1. The MS App now does takes a lot of unnecessary screen space from the top and bottom portions, which then decreases the space for the important content you need to look for. 2. The menu bar was better off to the side, since it will give us room to view our accounts. 3. There are several things that should have been prioritized that can be built on top of what the app already offers from the UI perspective like minimizing and maximizing categories i.e. liabilities and assets. I can go on, but would really like MS to bring back the previous format whilst maintaining the new speed, which is very doable.

Worst Company - Don’t Trust Reviews

Morgan Stanley is not a platform that should be trusted or used by middle class Americans, as it will likely lead to a decrease in wealth and greater financial struggles. The company's practices are predatory, and can leave customers with a much worse financial situation than before. It is best to avoid Morgan Stanley altogether.

Can't Login

Since the update a month ago can't log in with Firefox. After you enter your credentials it just keeps on spinning without going further. Thank's for fixing the problem. Just checked can now login from Firefox

Used to work, now complains no connection

Used to work fine, now gets stuck at “verifying” and eventually complains “no connection.” Every other app has a connection. Needed to urgently check my account, this app failed it’s one job.

Until i haven’t been able to login for over a week now… I have uninstalled and reinstalled app many times, like everyday, and it logs me in then I get the circle of death and a white screen forever

Constantly Gets Stuck in Verifying Login

90% of the time I try to login using Face ID it gets stuck verifying my login. Usually have to close the app and reopen a few times to get it to work. When it does work it takes up to 5 minutes to verify. Huge waste of time as the app should be designed around ease of use and convenience. Hardly the case here…

Can’t login to my business account

I am able to login to my personal account but after login out and entering my separate business login pass: it still shows my personal accounts. What happened to my business account? Why is it using my business login to open my personal account? Please fix I have 2 logins for my personal and business accounts and I do not want them combined.

Needs Polish

App has a lot of potential but could use a facelift and some UX tweaks. The permanent homepage notifications are annoying. Be great if we could control what screen is the homepage on login. With the e*trade merger not sure if there is a long term strategy is between that app and this one.

I thought fidelity was bad but I can’t even authenticate a lot of the time with Morgan Stanley. When you can it’s laggy and confusing

Design is very old school. Need to be updated. Needs dark mode as well. Overall, the bones of the app are good.

MS App Stuck on Verifying Screen

I have used the MS Wealth Management App for several years without incident. The app has the latest update as of October 31, 2022. My iPhone 13 Pro has iOS version 16.1. For weeks, when I launch the app a white screen with a blue circle appears with the word ‘verifying’. The blue circle spins and the app rarely launches and is not usable. Of the very few (2-3) times the app has launched, it works. It is terribly frustrating!!

I been trying to sing in for 2 days, it never works, my account number is 12 digits!

Terrible broker

Had an inheritance stuck with MS for a couple months. They charge obscene fees. 2% on spot trades and 10% on covered calls. They apparently were stealing from my aunt with those fees for years. They should be jailed. Leaving Etrade because their parent company is so atrocious.

Do not use Access Investing

This is the worst portfolio I’ve ever invested in in my life. Lost a lot of money to these idiots. Do not use.

Deposit mobile check

I have had an issue depositing my checks. It can be days before they go through with out being rejected.

Lately it’s down more than it’s up

Hoping they’ll resolve the issue soon.
